Washing:
Dri-FIT gym shorts are built for performance, and proper washing helps maintain their moisture-wicking ability. Machine wash them in cold water on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent. Avoid fabric softeners, as they can clog the fabric’s pores and reduce breathability and sweat-wicking performance.
Drying:
Air drying is best to preserve the technical fabric. Hang or lay flat to dry. If you need to use a dryer, opt for a low-heat or no-heat setting. High temperatures can damage the synthetic fibers and affect the fit or performance features of the shorts.
Ironing and Wrinkle Care:
Dri-FIT polyester is naturally resistant to wrinkles, so ironing is usually unnecessary. If needed, use a cool iron only, and avoid direct contact with the fabric—place a cloth or towel between the iron and the shorts to prevent heat damage or melting.
Additional Tips:
Wash inside out to help protect logos, prints, or reflective elements. Skip bleach and strong detergents to avoid discoloration or fiber damage. For best results, wash Dri-FIT gear separately or with similar performance fabrics to prevent pilling or snags.
