Washing:
Shirts made from a 60/40 cotton/polyester blend are generally low-maintenance, but for best results, wash them in cold or warm water using a gentle cycle.
Drying:
Tumble dry on a low heat setting or hang the shirts to air dry. High heat can lead to shrinkage and may reduce the shirt’s longevity.
Ironing and Wrinkle Care:
These shirts usually resist wrinkles better than pure cotton, but if ironing is needed, use a medium heat setting and avoid direct contact with high temperatures. Steam ironing works well. Always iron inside-out to protect the surface of the fabric, especially if the shirt has prints or embellishments.
Additional Tips:
Avoid using bleach, as it can damage the fibers and fade the color. Fabric softeners can be used sparingly to maintain softness. For long-term care, consider washing shirts inside-out to reduce pilling and protect any printed designs.
